Aathun Volunteers - A Hope To Revive The Folk Music Of Rajasthan

Aathun (आथुन) is an initiative by Rajasthan Studio that aims at conserving the Rajasthani folk culture. It bridges the gap between the folk artists and their audience without hampering the actual ‘Experience’. Campaigns like Digital India and Vocal For Local smoothened the process for it to take a full-fledged form. Aathun was recently shortlisted (top 5) as one of the Alternate Livelihood Initiative by Outlook Responsible Tourism India. Aathun is now looking for potential Aathun volunteers who will be interested to contribute to our cause.

The Objective:

To bridge the geographical gap between the artists and Team Aathun.

The Expectations?

The Aathun volunteers will be expected to travel to villages, in and around their city to converse with the folk artists assigned to them. This includes documenting the artist, their art, and help in the coordination of the live performance. The Aathun volunteer will be the point of contact for both the artist and our team.

How Does This Opportunity Contribute To Aathun Volunteers?

This is an opportunity for everyone who wishes to contribute towards the noble cause of folk artists of Rajasthan. Volunteers will be a part of the volunteer team. Not only will they receive a certificate, but also an immense amount of self-fulfillment and personal growth as well.

How To Apply?

If you are a volunteer willing to add value to Aathun’s noble cause, please fill this form.
